Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, restaurants and cafes are being quarantined. Food delivery services work in an emergency mode, but some people have lost their jobs or faced wage cuts, so they cannot afford to use their services. The way out is to cook at home.
How to process groceries from the store during the pandemic
Currently, there is no official confirmation that food or product packaging may be related to COVID-19 transmission. But it is possible that a person will become infected by touching a surface with the virus and then touching a face. Follow the simple rules:
- When you return from the store, wash your hands thoroughly with soap for at least 20 seconds.
- Take the products out of the packaging and throw them into the trash can with the lid.
- Wash fruits and vegetables under cold running water without using chemicals.
- Wipe the can with disinfectant before opening or putting it in the fridge.
- Wash your hands again or use an alcoholic napkin.
